Tried out a different style using only the brush and the water tool in SAI (except for the extra lighting on the lightning bolts, that was my usual trick).
I think it worked.
Anyway, sorry for going off of the radar over my birthday, but now I’m back and I’ll be sure to restart delivering pictures to you as soon as I can!

This picture was supposed to be finished the morning after Valentines Day.
Anyways, here you go, a lot of new stuff tried here, most of it failed, but that’s what experimentation is for, right?
I don’t have a valentine again this year, oh well.
Luckily I’m not feeling much like a bleeding heart anymore, so here, have a celebratory picture of Scarlet. I wonder who she could be giving it to! :o

This is Tales of Equestria! A comic project set in the world of Equestria. The story itself will follow tales and points of interest, but will also pursue matters that are considered important in the real world, as well as any other.
The comic will be in monotone and pages will be uploaded either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on ease of work. Any piece might be remade at any time, as long as the weekly page quota is completed.
As for characters, there will be some joke characters and there will be some serious characters. Characters you know will join an original cast. And yes, that’s a Kyurem in the picture, I kid you not.
You’ll just have to trust me on this one, so without further ado, let us begin~

Twilight’s mane is oddly difficult to draw sometimes.
Didn’t take too long oddly enough, but anyway, I imagined this to be Twilight when she gets enhanced by the full power of the elements of harmony.

Azure’s twin sister, Scarlet.
This was difficult, but she’s my babbu, so I still love her.
For the record, the costume idea here is that this is the filly uniform at the Princess Celestia Academy for Gifted Unicorns. The costume itself is made up of a white blouse with a red waistcoat over the top, a skirt, tights and shoes. The latter two things were suggested as commodities among private school uniforms.

It’s probably too late to jump on the episode bandwagon for last week, but I’m just sayin’ I loved their new costumes.
Sort of confused as to why they looked cooler than the proper Wonderbolt costumes. And hey, Spitfire’s new voice is okay, but her old one was better and more fitting imo.
For the record, Azure Crescendo’s really just a filly and nowhere near this mature XD But I wanted an adult one and she’s the only female pegasus about.
Gonna be drawing more uniform and clothing designs and may upload a male alternative to this one.

When I recieved an order to draw griffons I had mixed feelings and for good reason; these guys were bloody hard to draw. Well, usually I don’t spend as long on pictures as I have on this occasion, but at least it’s done, because I was starting to get sick of looking at it
